Summer Reading Program

webposter.jpgEvery year, the Kewaskum Public Library hosts a summer reading program for elementary age kids (5K – grade 5). We give away fun prizes for reading 100 pages a week! We have exciting family programs every Wednesday afternoon! We have a picnic and play games and make things! On a scale of 1-10, where “1” is like putting beef gravy on your toothbrush and “10” is like a chocolate-covered ice-cream sandwich dipped in solid gold, this year’s summer reading program is an ELEVEN! Do you want puppets? We have puppets! Do you like fire? We’ll be setting things on fire! Ever wanted to touch a live sea creature? WELL YOU CAN IF YOU ARE A PART OF THIS YEAR’S SUMMER READING PROGRAM!!!

Sign up begins on June 7th and runs through the end of the day June 19th. Please sign up as soon as you can, supplies are limited! Library staff will be visiting schools with more information. Please call the library with any questions at 626-4312. And watch this space for more announcements, including a downloadable schedule.
