November program: Artist Trading Cards

treeOn Tuesday, November 9, at 6pm, the Kewaskum Public Library will host a program about artist trading cards. This is the third year we have offered this program–a free workshop on artist trading cards (ATCs). What are ATCs? Baseball-card sized pieces of original artwork that are traded between artists. What if you’re not a “real” artist? You don’t have to be! ATCs are part graphic design, part scrapbooking. Even if you have no drawing or painting skills, you can make an ATC! Mel Kolstad of the group Fond du Lac Visual Arts will be on hand to offer advice, guidance and loads of interesting paper scraps, stickers, stamps and ephemera. Fun and easy for anyone from late-elementary school age to adults.

More information (and ideas) about artist trading cards can be found here and here. And even here!

See you there!
