On Friday, July 20th at 11am, please meet us at Kiwanis Park for our end of the summer reading program celebration! Yes, Friday will be the last day of “Week 6”, but don’t despair–you can keep reading and still get all of your prizes through the end of August! The picnic is FREE and open to anyone who has signed up for the summer reading program. The library provides sandwiches and drinks and we ask that families bring a treat, fruit or veggies, or chips to share. This year, Mrs. Gosdeck will be leading games–and she has some awesome stuff planned! Also at the picnic: a great prize giveaway (you must be present to win). Also don’t forget about next Monday’s extra event “David Stokes“. He is hilarious and interesting and will bring lots of stuff for hands-on learning about nature. If you enjoyed last week’s ZooZorts, you’ll love David Stokes. Also in August, we’re hosting the dunk tank again at Movie Under the Stars and library director Steev Baker will be sitting in the tank!
