Summer programs

Youth 01 RobotsRegistration for the 2014 summer reading program has begun! This year’s theme is “FIZZ BOOM READ,” and we have lots of new books for young scientists. Stop in and fill out a registration card and receive a folder to keep track of your reading this summer. When you read 100 pages in a week, you get the prize for that week + some loot from our treasure box! The program is free and open to any students in K – 5th grade.

In addition to the prizes you can earn, we also have weekly events that are open to EVERYONE, regardless of age. The first event is an interactive storytelling experience featuring nationally-known storytellers Bob Kanegis and Liz Mangual. “Seekers and Dreamers in Science and Story” will be held at 12:30pm on Wednesday, June 18th at the Annex Building and is a perfect event for families.
