About us

The Kewaskum Public Library has been serving the people of Kewaskum and its surrounding communities since 1914. During that time, the library has grown from a project of the Kewaskum Women’s Club to a fully-staffed, modern library. The village of Kewaskum is located in beautiful south eastern Wisconsin, at the foot of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. Find out more about our village’s namesake, Kewaskum of the Potawatomi.

The Kewaskum Public Library is part of the S.H.A.R.E. (Shared Holding and Resource Exchange) consortium consisting of libraries in Dodge, Jefferson, Racine, Walworth, and Washington counties. All Kewaskum and other S.H.A.R.E. cardholders have access to the collections of all member libraries through the online catalog. Log in with your library card number and PIN # to place holds, renew materials, and review your account. If you don’t know your PIN#, please contact the library and we will be happy to provide it for you.
