Overdrive on your Kindle Fire?

It’s true, you can now find the Overdrive App in the Amazon Kindle app store. We have tried it out and it does work. However, you cannot get Kindle books with it. Confusing? Yes! The Overdrive App was designed to allow you to download Adobe epub files (the file that the Nook, Kobo, Sony, and iPad uses). It also allows you to download audio books. Come and talk to Steev at the library if you questions about it. We’ll be talking about it at our Kindle class on Thursday, too!

Nook owners can also find the Overdrive app in the Nook app store. This will allow you to download books wirelessly instead of having to plug your device into your laptop every time you want a new book.
