At long last, you can finally pick up your paper copies of state and federal tax forms. We are still waiting for federal 1040 instruction booklets, but everything else is here. The instructions are expected by the end of the week.

On Monday, January 21, we will start selling all of the 2011 issues of our magazines. We have over 60 different titles available from kids’ magazines like American Girl and Zoobooks to adult magazines like Wired, Wisconsin Trails, Good Housekeeping, and Popular Mechanics. $3 for a full-year set (most of them contain 12 issues, some are 6 issues). Come in at 10am for the best selection!

The project: How will yours look?

Our first program of the new year is a Beading Class hosted by Xpressions Bead and Yarn Shop of West Bend. Xpressions has been running beading classes here for a number of years now, and we love to work with them. This year’s project is a funky leather and chain bracelet. These same bracelets were available at Xpressions for $24. The class offered through the library will only be $10 per person! This is a great deal to learn how to make a really interesting piece of wearable art. The class will be at 6pm on Tuesday, January 22nd. Please sign up at the library ahead of time.
