All Ages & Family Programming:

June 8: Zoo Party!: Tails & Tales Summer Learning Program Sign-Up & Party: Celebrate the start of the 2021 Summer Learning Program, Tails & Tales, with a party on the library lawn from 11 AM-1 PM.  Sign-up for the Summer Learning Program, visit the Stuffed Animal Zoo, enjoy some packaged snacks, take silly pictures in the Zoo photo booth and more Zoo themed fun!

June 15: Stuffed Animal Adoption Day!: Visit the library from 1 PM-3 PM to adopt a stuffed animal of your own and pick up the Animal Care Grab & Go Kit so that your new pet will have everything they need to feel cozy in their new home.

 June 22: Library @ Party on the Pavement!: Stop by the library’s booth at Party on the Pavement from 10 AM-3 PM for information about all the wonderful resources the library has to offer.  All children are invited to pick up a special Grab & Go project related to the 2021 Summer Learning Program theme, Tails & Tales.

June 29: Tie Dye Party!: Join us on the library lawn from 1 PM-2 PM for lots of tie dye fun.  Bring along something from home to create or tie dye socks, bandanas or scrunchies that the library will provide. 

July 6: Learn About Animals with Washington County 4-H!: Join us at 1 PM to learn all about animals from some 4-H experts.

 July 13: Sidewalk Chalk Animal Art Challenge!: Stop by the library from 1 PM-2 PM to draw your favorite animal on our sidewalk with chalk.  All sidewalk chalk artists will get a special bookmark for participating.

July 20: Animal Tracks Scavenger Hunt!: Throughout the week of July 19-24 visit the library to complete the indoor animal tracks scavenger hunt.  Then, join us on Tuesday, July 20 from 1 PM-3 PM for an animal tracks scavenger hunt all around Kiwanis Park!  Redeem your completed scavenger hunt clue sheet for an animal inspired prize.

July 27: Stuffed Animal Sleepover: Ever wondered what happens at the library at night?  Well now, you can find out when one of your stuffed animals spends the night at the Stuffed Animal Sleepover!  Bring a stuffed animal to the library from 10 AM-3 PM on Tuesday, July 27, make them a nametag and pick up your Sleepover Grab & Go kit.  Then, pick up your stuffed animal and the pictures we took of all of their silly activities after 12 PM on Wednesday, July 28.

 August 6: Summer Learning Program Celebration Picnic: Join the library at Kiwanis Park from 11 AM-1 PM to celebrate all the great work accomplished during the 2021 Summer Learning Program.  Get a peek inside a Kewaskum police car and fire truck, play games with your friends and pick up your Summer Learning Program coupon completion packets.

Kids Grab & Go Kits: Visit the library to pick up your kit with the projects related to the weekly theme.  Supplies are limited and kits are handed out on a first come, first serve basis.
