Wisconsin’s new Safer At Home order that was issued on April 16 gives libraries some flexibility to begin offering curbside pickup of library materials, but not until April 24 or later.
We here at the Kewaskum Public Library are exploring the best way to offer curbside pickup of library materials, and we are awaiting additional interpretation from the Department of Public Instruction and the State Department of Health. Our goal is to provide this service as soon after April 24 as possible, and when we have a plan in place for offering and managing curbside pickup we will issue public announcements.
Our priority is the safety of library customers and library staff, and we want to develop this new service accordingly. We are as excited to get library materials into your hands as you are to get them! Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for more information.
